Environmental Performance Specialist

This role involves implementing a global strategy to reduce energy, water, and CO2 emissions across all facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting energy audits, identifying areas for improvement, and developing projects to reduce consumption.

They will work closely with site subject matter experts to implement structured energy reduction programs, support the development of their expertise, and collaborate with local partners to identify funding opportunities.

Additionally, they will compile corporate sustainability reports, establish global enterprise guidance documents, and lead the global energy engineering network/community of practice.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Building Service Engineering or a related field, 5+ years' experience in Energy Engineering, and knowledge of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct energy audits and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop project concepts to reduce energy, water, and CO2 emissions
  • Maintain a register of energy, water, and CO2 opportunities and executed projects
  • Lead energy efficient design reviews for projects
  • Implement life cycle assessment methodologies across projects
  • Verify energy, water, and CO2 performance improvement
  • Ensure energy, water, and CO2 use data is gathered and recorded
  • Create, review, and report on site energy and water consumption and CO2 emissions
  • Support site subject matter experts to implement structured energy reduction programs
  • Compile corporate sustainability reports
  • Establish global enterprise guidance documents
  • Lead the global energy engineering network/community of practice

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Service Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in Energy Engineering
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
