Job Summary
We are seeking an IT Control Testing Specialist to help shape and implement a robust 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) IT control testing capability.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and operation of a new IT Control Framework.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and implementation of the 1LOD IT control testing model, methodologies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain the integrated IT Control Framework
- Lead complex IT control design and effectiveness testing
- Produce insightful MI to inform senior decision-making and risk management
- Partner with stakeholders across Europe to agree remediation plans for control gaps
- Drive innovation and automation in control processes
- Influence senior leaders to embed strong risk culture and governance practices
- 5+ years in technology risk, audit, or IT control testing roles
- Hands-on experience designing and assessing IT controls
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, COBIT; certifications like CRISC, CISM, or CISSP preferred
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with controls automation and tooling is highly desirable
- Contract highly likely to extend
