The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our centre, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards.

This includes ensuring personal plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support plans are up-to-date and implemented effectively. The person in charge will also be responsible for providing mentorship and leadership to their team, conducting regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual with strong management skills and experience in managing a team in a social or healthcare setting. The successful candidate will hold a level 7/8 degree in a health or social related qualification and have at least 3 years of managerial experience within a similar setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the delivery of duties within the centre on a daily basis in line with regulations.
  • To provide the highest quality of care and support to people who use this service.
  • To meet regulation compliance in accordance with Health Act 2007 (Care and Support of Residents in Designated Centres for Persons (Children and Adults) with Disabilities) Regulations 2013.
  • To manage the staff team to provide support to people who use this service and coordinate input from other individuals as required.
  • To oversee the service as necessary across shifts to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered within the centre.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 7/8 degree in a health or social related qualification.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience within a similar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgement.
  • Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team.
  • Good listener and open to learning from others.
  • Excellent organisational skills/self-motivation/self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills.
