Role Summary

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Psychologist to develop their skills and contribute to shaping children's disability services. The team works with children from 0-18 years and their families who are accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.

The successful candidate will provide psychological services as required, working in partnership with families and other team members. This includes assessment, diagnostics, programme implementation, behavior management, and running parent training courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a range of psychological services to support children and families
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Contribute to the development of children's disability services

Requirements

  • University degree or diploma (QQI level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in Psychology
  • Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology
  • Demonstrate competence in working with children with disabilities
