Job Description:

Our dynamic investment funds practice is seeking a talented associate to join its team in Dublin. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to work alongside experienced practitioners in the investment funds space and advise a global client base across all key fund jurisdictions.

The role will involve advising on a wide range of investment fund matters, with a particular focus on:

  • The establishment and operation of alternative investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, closed-ended and qualifying investor funds.
  • The structuring and formation of UCITS and ETFs.
  • Ongoing regulatory advice to AIFMs, UCITS management companies, MIFID firms, and other investment management entities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong technical ability and attention to detail, with a proven track record of working on high-value, complex matters. You should also have experience working with clients in the asset management space, including fund managers and institutional investors. Additionally, you will need to be proactive and commercial, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualified solicitor (Irish qualification preferred) with 2-5 years' PQE gained in a top-tier firm or specialist financial services practice.
  • Strong technical ability and attention to detail, with a proven track record of working on high-value, complex matters.
  • Experience working with clients in the asset management space, including fund managers and institutional investors.
  • A proactive and commercial mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
