About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop new features for the Squarespace interface. This involves working closely with other engineers and designers to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of exceptional customer experiences. Moreover, you will be responsible for keeping our product up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, such as React and ES2016+, and maintaining high standards of software engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop new features for the Squarespace interface
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and implement them in our product
  4. Maintain high standards of software engineering and contribute to team and company standards
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in JavaScript development, a solid understanding of new ES6 concepts, and expertise in React, Angular, or other modern JS frameworks. Additionally, you should possess extensive experience in developing large-scale application software, a deep knowledge of the DOM, new HTML5 constructs, and CSS3, and experience with Single Page Application development. A strong commitment to crafting readable and dependable code is essential. Finally, you should hold a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
