Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our team at Nua Healthcare Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and supporting the development of our services.

The role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing effective medication management systems
  • Providing training and support to colleagues on clinical best practice
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Supporting the development of health plans and care pathways
  • Monitoring and addressing medication errors

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring best practice in the safe management and administration of medication throughout the service
  • Organizing and managing clinics
  • Developing and delivering clinical training as required
  • Supporting in the development of policy, protocols, and guidelines in line with best practice
  • Supporting the monitoring of health checks relevant to certain medication

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possess a recognized professional post-graduate qualification
  • Be registered with An Bord Altranais
  • Have experience working in a similar environment, preferably in a social care setting
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of medication management
