Operations Manager Role

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic leader to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and drive operational efficiency at a busy GastroBar/Restaurant in Cork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety standards and liquor licensing requirements.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise staff, including bartenders and servers. Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while optimizing labor costs.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, addressing customer feedback and resolving issues promptly. Monitor dining and bar areas to ensure a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
  • Monitor and manage financials, including labor, food, and beverage expenses. Analyze sales reports and operational data to identify areas for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote private dining, special events, promotions, weekly specials, and themed/seasonal events to drive customer traffic.
