PE Global is currently recruiting for a Civil Structural Engineer on behalf of our public sector client. This is an initial 12-month contract hybrid role in Dublin.
Job DescriptionThe Civil Structural Engineer position will be based in the Civil, Environmental & Renewables Engineering Group within Engineering and Major Projects. The team delivers civil engineering services from feasibility through construction stage of maintenance projects for hydro and thermal stations and their associated infrastructure.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivery of civil engineering services
- Inspection of assets
- Audit of maintenance procedures
- Preparation of tender packages
- Provision of structural advice
In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:
- Ensure quality procedures are implemented on all projects
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform commercial and project management tasks
- Demonstrate strong communication and report writing skills
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience and hold a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Interested candidates should submit an updated CV.
