Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a quantity surveying role with a mechanical contractor.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical installations, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure.
">The successful applicant will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects, from setting initial cost budgets to compiling and closing out final accounts.
">Key Responsibilities
">• Analyse tender BoQ's to set construction budgets for the procurement of assigned projects.
">• Monthly cost tracking against budgets and reporting on same.
">• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders on commercial aspects of projects.
">• Prepare, submit and achieve certification on Monthly Payment Claim Notices.
">Requirements
">• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
">• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
">• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a specific focus on M&E components.
