  3. Coordinating the formulation of the firm's Risk Appetite Statement and monitoring that the firm's risk profile and Strategic plans are consistent with it.
  4. Managing the firm's policy governance framework and overseeing its continued implementation, ensuring a formal and consistent approach to governance of the firm's risk policies and frameworks.
  5. Developing and enabling the firm's emerging risk processes.
  6. Structuring and orchestrating Risk Function SMT meetings to provide for ongoing information sharing and collaboration.
  7. Developing, maintaining, and promoting the Function's Risk Charter.
  8. Liaising with the CRO and other members of the Risk Senior Management Team for the ongoing production of the CRO report.
  9. Overseeing delivery of the risk function's reporting obligations through to all relevant governance fora, including the Executive Risk & Compliance Committee and Board Risk & Compliance Committee.

  13. Participating in AIB Governance fora as necessary to maintain appropriate alignment of approach to Second Line of Defence risk management structures and practices.
  14. Overseeing the execution of Second Line of Defence Risk Function roles and responsibilities that are discharged by AIB Group p.l.c. and management of the associated SLA.
  15. Growing and managing a team of risk professionals. Identifying competency requirements and ensuring ongoing development of a training plan as required.
  16. Upholding and promoting the values and independence of the role.
