**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Development Manager to join our team at Executive Edge. As a Senior Account Development Manager - Lighting Sector, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts in the industrial lighting sector.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their business needs and requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer communications, anticipating and resolving any customer challenges.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and new market segments.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans, setting goals and milestones for sales performance and account development.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure that customer requirements are met with suitable products and specifications.
  • Provide expert knowledge of industrial area lighting products, certifications, and regulations ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Educate clients on the technical aspects of lighting solutions and the benefits of advanced technologies.
  • Deliver product presentations and training.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, regulations, and innovations.
  • Lead the implementation of large lighting projects.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring products and services are delivered to the client on time and within scope.
  • Manage the post-installation support process, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely response to inquiries, service requests, or maintenance needs.
  • Regularly update sales forecasting tools and reports to track progress against sales targets.
  • Analyze account performance and identify areas for improvement or new opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and adjust sales strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical support, product development, and marketing, to ensure the alignment of customer needs with the company's offerings.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows, and client events to promote lighting solutions and engage with potential customers.

About You:

  • Strong experience in a Key Account Management role in the industrial lighting sector.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and CRM software.
  • Proven experience with lighting systems and certifications.
  • Strong technical understanding of the principles of classification and lighting requirements.
  • Strong ability to develop and nurture long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
