The role of Project Manager is a critical position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex civil engineering projects.

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

">

You will be responsible for examining project plans and requirements, developing comprehensive baseline programmes using Microsoft Project, and monitoring these programmes regularly to provide clients with updates.

">

A key aspect of this role will be identifying delays in the critical path as they occur, illustrating them on the programme, and negotiating necessary extensions of time with the client.

">

In addition, you will be responsible for assessing project pricing and monitoring internal costs to ensure that the project stays within budget, pinpointing areas of financial loss within the project, determining root causes, and devising mitigation strategies.

">

This role will also require strong interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as PC skills to complete timesheets, requisitions, etc.

">

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, and has a good understanding of site levels, with the ability to set up and use a pipe laser.

  • 5+ years' experience on civil engineering projects">
  • Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors">
