About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Trainee Financial Risk Specialist to join our Ireland Risk Division, focusing on small/mid-ticket leasing portfolios and tailored asset finance solutions. This position offers valuable career experience in a dynamic financial environment, rotating through Credit Assessment, Commercial Finance, and Portfolio Risk Management areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed credit assessments as a sound basis for own decision-making or senior risk members' decisions.
  • Conducting thorough financial evaluations of financial data, being comfortable with written and verbal financial statement analysis.
  • Collaborating closely with internal sales teams to obtain required information on deals and communicate decisions effectively.
  • Occasionally attending dealer and end-user meetings/calls to complete due diligence.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and draw conclusions. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required to communicate complex ideas effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
