Civil & Structural Engineering, Renewables
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle of renewable energy developments from concept to commissioning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental consultants, planners, and contractors.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and reporting.
- Engage with clients, regulatory authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and planning regulations.
- Prepare and review technical reports, planning applications, and procurement documents.
- Support business development, including proposal writing and client presentations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Environmental, or related discipline); PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sector.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Irish planning and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Familiarity with grid connection processes in Ireland.
- Experience working with public sector clients or EU-funded projects.
- Working knowledge of environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and permitting.
