We are a Tier 1 residential developer with a unique opportunity for a high-calibre, senior commercial professional with quantity surveying and estimating skills to join our Cost Planning Team. As a Lead Quantity Surveyor - Residential Developments, you will play a key role in assisting in the provision of quantity surveying services under the direction of senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost plans from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning ready for handover to the project team.
  • Participate in design team meetings through the design phases offering cost advice to ensure the financial viability of the project without compromising the design.
  • Liaise with project delivery teams to ensure construction budgets for upcoming developments are robust.
  • Interrogate current project exit costs to ensure real-time cost data is informing new projects.
  • Develop and maintain a databank of construction costs to assist the ongoing Cost Estimation and Financial Appraisal process.
