Precision Machinist

A skilled Toolmaker is required to design, manufacture and maintain high-quality tooling.

• Interpret and verify technical drawings, specifications and designs to fabricate precision machined parts or assemblies.
• Collaborate with clients to optimize part design and production.
• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
• Proficient in operation of CNC Milling machine, EDM Wiring Erosion Machine, surface grinders, lathes and other conventional machine tools.
• Prepare parts for anodizing and ensure smooth assembly processes.
• Assist the designer in verifying fit and function of assembled machine parts.
• Perform mechanical assembly during machine build within the manufacturing team.
• Responsible for daily machinery maintenance and upkeep.

• Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft & Toolmaking.
• At least 3-5 years' experience as a Toolmaker.
• Competent in 3D CAM software and CNC machinery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Ability to work independently and be highly motivated.
