We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our operations in Limerick, Ireland.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a site maintenance program to ensure the compliant, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant and equipment.

This will involve working closely with Site Maintenance Managers, Planners, and API Maintenance Lead to deliver the program's objectives.

The ideal candidate will have previous electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, along with strong technical knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute start-up checks on machinery throughout the plant on a daily basis.
  • Carry out swift and safe breakdowns at all times.
  • Ensure that all servicing and maintenance throughout the site is done in an efficient, safe, and hygienic manner.
  • Solve problems related to refrigeration, plumbing, and other equipment in a safe and tidy manner.
  • Implement and follow the preventative maintenance schedule to ensure that records are completed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Completion of a 4-year approved technical training program in mechanical or electrical repair and maintenance and 2 years' electrical/mechanical experience.
  • Or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved, including third and fourth year apprentices.
  • Leaving Cert, School Diploma, or Equivalent.
  • Skills: Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, Maintenance Management.
