Site Agent Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead our civil engineering team in Carlow. This is a key project for one of Ireland's most reputable civil contractors.

The successful candidate will have long-term work available in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

The Site Agent will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing site teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination between all parties.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers and senior engineers to deliver the project successfully.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, addressing any potential issues promptly.
  • Evaluating full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in a Site Agent role within the civil engineering or construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve challenges effectively.
  • Full clean driving license.
