The role of Senior Delivery Manager is a critical position responsible for the successful delivery of large business initiatives across both business and technical deliverables. Key aspects include collaboration with stakeholders to define project structures, delivery methodologies, and timelines.

- Work with the Portfolio Manager/Head of Delivery to define a project structure and delivery methodology for the Business Initiative.
- Ensure successful delivery from initiation through to completion.
- Understand cross-team dependencies and foster collaboration and communication across teams.
- Drive any resource conflicts or delivery-related issues towards resolution.
- Drive a culture of continuous value delivery through relentless prioritisation of benefit-focused outcomes.
- Lead technical delivery for strategic deliverables, ensuring integration with legacy systems and alignment with enterprise architecture & quality standards.
- Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Portfolio Leads to manage technical deliverables.
- Responsible for full end-to-end project activities including test planning and deployment to production.
- Collaborate strongly with all Tech/Business/Finance teams ensuring alignment and transparency on deliverables.
- Manage a team of Delivery Managers ensuring a transparent reporting & performance management culture.
- Effectively manage technical project decisions with a view of the overall desired business outcome of this change/strategic mindset.
- Work with Portfolio Managers/Head of Delivery to ensure governance is in place.
- Establish, manage and support full reporting governance.
- Ensure the effective and auditable management of all artefacts outlined in the delivery framework.
- Report delivery status and updates in line with recommended governance framework.
- Work closely with finance business partners to ensure the active management and reporting of project financial status outputs.
- Actively manage all risk items, mitigating challenges throughout delivery.
- Ensure an on-time and on-budget delivery culture aligned with the agreed delivered methodology.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior business stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical status/issues/challenges in simple terms, in business impact terms.
- Engage with internal technology functions and product teams to define business value & delivery outcomes.
- Manage project communications to key stakeholders across multiple levels throughout business and technology.
- Prepare transparent programme decks for Steering meetings with all stakeholders & deliver these presentations.

- Regularly liaise with all parties involved to identify improvement areas throughout design and all implementation phases.
- Flag process improvements gaps to where it's evident that technical changes are going to impact business process.
- Oversight on data integrity, security, and compliance.
- A relevant 3rd level qualification with a strong technical focus.
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies including Waterfall & Agile.
- Possess at least 10+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 8 years in project or programme management/agile delivery.
- Experience in working with third-party suppliers in the delivery of business or IT change initiatives – including experience of working with remote and co-located teams and vendors.
- Advanced level of proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience leading complex technology and business transformation projects.
- A strong understanding of best practices, tools and techniques for project management and programme management with ability to continuously improve these processes.
- Acute understanding and ability to demonstrate expertise in Quality Management, Project Planning, Risk & Change management.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally at levels up to Director and C Suite.
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders and to influence stakeholders in support of project delivery.
- Robust relationship management, capable of working with all levels within the organisation by building effective relationships.
- An effective team manager with proven ability to build, motivate and support a high-performing team.
- Highly motivated, driven, pragmatic and completely focused on project delivery for business benefit.
- Strong listening, analytical, problem-solving and close attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution skills – driving resolution of any project/cross-team conflict.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Provide 2 verifiable references.
- Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5-year background check or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in.
