Lead Facilities and Technical Manager

In a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment, we are seeking an experienced Facilities and Technical Manager to oversee the facilities and technical functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians to optimize plant performance, ensure quality and delivery meet customer expectations, and maintain process efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage facilities and processes to maximize throughput and efficiency while ensuring quality and delivery meet customer expectations.
* Recruit, mentor, motivate, and manage a team of engineers and technicians to maximize plant performance and potential.
* Oversee resource allocation to ensure business requirements are met while controlling expenditure on labour, direct expenses, and consumables within approved budgets.

Requirements:
* A degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline is required.
* At least 5 years of experience in leading a facilities and technical department within a manufacturing organization is essential.
* Knowledge of polymers and polymer processing is advantageous.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical capital projects and new product/process development and introduction.
