Mechanical Construction Manager Role in Europe

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Construction Manager to lead and oversee mechanical construction activities on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all mechanical construction activities from planning through to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Progress monitoring, site inspections, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve technical or logistical issues.
  • Review of mechanical drawings and specifications, providing input on constructability and value engineering opportunities.
  • Maintenance of accurate project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Support for the procurement process by reviewing technical submittals and coordinating equipment delivery schedules.
  • Leadership of project meetings and provision of regular updates to senior management.
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential.
  • Experience with materials and jointing methods such as PVC, PVDF, PP, S/S, C/S, orbital and TIG welding and fusion jointing advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills – MS Office/Excel.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as Filemaker advantageous.
  • Data centre experience advantageous but not essential.
