Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist nursing knowledge and skills to patients receiving SACT in both inpatient and outpatient settings

">

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

">

• Participate in nurse-led clinics, research, audit, and education initiatives

">

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines

">

Required Qualifications and Experience:

">

• Be a Registered Nurse/Midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)

">

• Possess a minimum of 1 year post-registration full-time experience or an aggregate of 1 year full-time experience in the division of the register

">

• Have a minimum of 1 year experience in specialist area of SACT care

">

• Hold a Level 9 or higher award from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) or equivalent

">

• Demonstrate continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area

">

• Exhibit excellent keyboard skills and I.T. proficiency

">

• Possess leadership, managerial, and administrative capacity for the proper discharge of duties

">

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

">

• Nurse Prescribing Registration or willingness to undertake within an agreed timeframe

">

• Working knowledge of healthcare patient record systems

">

• Competency in SACT administration

">

• Experience in PICC line insertion
