MES Engineer Job Opportunity

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company in Dublin, is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-level tasks involving MES recipe authoring activities, ensuring compliance with facility goals of high product quality and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure MES recipes according to corporate design standards.
  • Administer the MES system to third-party interfaces, including SAP, LIMS, and DeltaV.
  • Configure and synchronize the MES system with equipment, material management, reports, and inventory management.
  • Participate in testing and computer system validation of MES recipes and related configuration.
  • Contribute to creation of MES deliverables such as design documents and validation activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or life sciences.
  • At least 5 years' experience as an MES Engineer.
  • Experience with MES system design, configuration, and application of business processes in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Desirable: experience in process controls and/or information systems within manufacturing organizations in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.
