Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing day-to-day operations, providing expert pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of the pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient dispensing of medicines.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical care and clinical advice to patients.
  • Ensure full compliance with PSI and HPRA regulations, as well as all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Lead, support, and work alongside an experienced and skilled dispensary team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, GPs, and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage stock control and ensure proper storage of all medicines.
  • Assist in the development of pharmacy services, including health promotion initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records and handle queries professionally.

Key Requirements
  • Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a pharmacist (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
