Job Title

Our organization is seeking a motivated Support Worker to join our team in Cork, Ireland. We provide services to children and adults with disabilities and their families.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and innovative team, providing person-centered services to individuals with disabilities. The role involves supporting clients with various needs, including physical, educational, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients with disabilities
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement client-centered plans
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care or a related field (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with people with disabilities and behaviors of concern
  • Full Clean Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive vehicles
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use electronic record systems
