Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our transport infrastructure business, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of transportation projects from inception through planning, design, and construction.

About the Role: In this hybrid role, you will work on various transportation projects, including roads, rail, greenways, and active travel initiatives. Your primary focus will be on managing project teams, ensuring RPS quality and management procedures are followed, and collaborating with clients and design teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Take responsibility for preparing designs and reports at all stages of a project lifecycle.
  • Ensure understanding of project management objectives.
  • Liaise with clients and work with them to achieve required solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Level 8 honours degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience across design and construction phases.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant Irish and/or UK standards, including NTA, TII, and DMRB design standards and guidance notes.
  • Experience working on projects at various phases from options, preliminary design, tender design, detailed design, and construction.
  • Contract documents experience, including Bills of Quantities, Specification, and Contract Drawings.
