Job Overview

This role supports our Global L&D Finance operations and APAC Operations Controller in regional logistics & supply chain cost reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying trends, investigating issues, and articulating findings to stakeholders.

This position requires flexibility, with a need to work onsite in our Athlone office for three days per week.

Main Responsibilities
  • Foster a collaborative relationship with APAC country finance teams to ensure accurate activity-based forecast information.
  • Produce monthly close reports and variance analysis for APAC regions, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives across APAC regions on transport, warehouse, and Purchase Price Variance.
  • Extrapolate data into forecasts, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and consolidation of APAC Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Forecasting.
  • Deliver Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and cap & roll lines within APAC Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Craft consolidated balance sheet flux reports for APAC regions, highlighting key financial trends.
  • Verify the accuracy of annual standard cost roll within APAC region and transfer prices.
  • Promote global report consistency including month-end, forecast, strategic, and AOP cycles.
  • Co-ordinate submission of supplemental schedules to FP&A in a timely manner.
  • Assist EMEA Controller in driving Freight and Damages analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Align reporting processes with other global groups, ensuring standardization and efficiency.
