Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiography services to patients in assigned areas, adhering to professional standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the general radiography service, engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.
• Contribute to out-of-hours service as required.
• Maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques, ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles.
• Comply with statutory directives and keep clinical and technical knowledge up to date.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Holds a Diploma/Degree of Radiography.
• Is CORU registered.
• Has knowledge of the RIS system and experience with on-call services.
• Displays flexibility in adapting to changes in healthcare environments.
• Demonstrates awareness of Radiation Safety and Health & Safety regulations.
• Possesses current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiography theory and practice.
• Exhibits excellent communication and customer service skills.
