Achieve Operational Excellence as an Environmental Specialist
This role is responsible for managing the site's environmental and process safety programs. Ensure regulatory compliance, educate the workforce, conduct sampling, and perform impact assessments to drive informed decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the site's environmental program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on environmental practices and process safety standards.
- Conduct thorough environmental sampling and impact assessments to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage the site's process safety program, preventing catastrophic incidents and ensuring operational safety.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in containment standards for high potent antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), providing guidance and expertise.
- Collaborate with the site engineering team to facilitate seamless integration of new products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemical engineering principles relevant to site operations and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or MSc degree in chemical engineering or a related field such as environmental management, occupational health & safety.
- Minimum 5 years experience in environmental management and process safety, preferably in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in containment standards for high potent ADCs.
- Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety and environmental strategies.
