Electrical Pre-construction Manager Job Summary

The Electrical Pre-construction Manager is responsible for coordinating projects from finalized bid submission to RIBA Stage 5 design completion.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure financial certainty on final bid submissions
  • Lead the mechanical design coordination process from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 5, ensuring buildability, compliance, and efficiency
  • Apply value engineering techniques to rationalize designs and improve both the buildability and commercially viability of the project
  • Ensure Electrical Designs are fully coordinated with Mechanical Designs and all other specialist aspects of the installations

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record and experience in all aspects of M&E installations and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of all electrical and associated specialist systems including life safety and communications systems
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to work to a plan to avoid disappointments
  • Good interpersonal skills to create meaningful reciprocal relationships with both colleagues and clients

Job Requirements:

Experience working on large-scale construction projects with complex electrical systems and strong commercial awareness.


Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
