Job Title: Data Protection Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with escalations regarding the handling of privacy complaints, queries, and data subject rights.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice in relation to requests from courts and law enforcement agencies;
  • Responding to regulator inquiries and investigations;
  • Supporting compliance and auditing frameworks;
  • Assisting with drafting of and updates to relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3-7+ years of experience in privacy law;
  • Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulator and other guidance and standards;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills;
  • Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple wide-ranging matters, conflicting deadlines, and new areas of expertise as business needs change;
  • Demonstrated ability, in a positive, commercial, and practical manner, to identify, prioritise, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Bonus Points:

Candidates with additional European languages and excellent written and verbal skills will be highly valued.
