We are seeking a skilled Gerontological and Convalescence Care Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in gerontological and convalescence care, with the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards.
- They will work closely with colleagues to provide a range of specialist care services, including care of the older person, people with Dementia/Alzheimer's and step-down care, convalescence care services.
Key responsibilities:
- Assessing residents' needs and developing individualized care plans
- Providing holistic, person-centered care that promotes optimum independence and enhances the quality of life for residents
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes for residents
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligibility to be so registered
- Consideration will be given to newly qualified/graduate nurses
- Demonstrated experience in gerontological and/or dementia care is advantageous
