We are seeking a highly skilled Food Manager to join our team at our service station in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve high standards of customer service.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support the integration of new team members.
  • Manage daily team operations including rostering, performance reviews, and employee relations.
  • Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Order and manage stock from multiple suppliers to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee office administration, including payroll, cash handling, paperwork, and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in preparing and analysing profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost control reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the kitchen, dining area, and general restaurant through daily and weekly routines.

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant management experience of minimum two years.
  • Food Safety Trained.
  • Ability to spot champions in store to develop into Supervisors and Managers.
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed, and neat appearance at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required.
