Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Day Porter to join our team at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will provide exceptional service to our guests and represent the resort in a professional manner.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality service to hotel guests.
  • Represent the resort professionally at all times.
  • Advise guests on hotel facilities.
  • Assist guests with luggage.
  • Provide food and beverage service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including public toilets, couches, and chairs in the foyer.
  • Clean away crockery and glasses from tables in the foyer, library, and front of reception.
  • Ensure the front entrance, both inside and out, is clean and presentable.
  • Check meeting rooms for presentation readiness.
  • Store equipment safely in the conference store.
  • Set up functions and meeting rooms, including assisting with audio-visual set-ups.
  • Report maintenance issues to the maintenance staff and manager on duty.
  • Perform duties instructed by the manager on duty.
