Carpenter and Joiner Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Carpenter and Joiner. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, display a keen interest in woodworking and construction, have an aptitude for learning and following instructions, and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols.

1. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
2. The ability to use initiative and work independently is essential, as the successful candidate will be responsible for completing tasks with minimal supervision.
3. Manual handling and Safe Pass certifications are preferred but not essential; however, a willingness to obtain these certifications is necessary.
4. A driving licence is also preferred, but not a requirement for this position.

Upon completion of a four-year apprenticeship, the individual will become a fully qualified Carpenter and Joiner with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft.
