We are seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Analyst to join our organization in Limerick, Ireland.
Job Description- The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently identifying and resolving transaction discrepancies between firms and swap counterparties.
- They will also ensure timely receipt of electronic-based OTC confirmations from trading counterparties and review swap confirmations covering all OTC products.
- Manage the settlement of swap cash flows associated with OTC products, including unwinds, quarterly fees, resets, upfront fees, coupons, and premiums.
- Communicate effectively with internal partners and clients, tailoring information to audience as required.
- Ad-hoc projects to meet and enhance client deliverables.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven team player, taking ownership for own role while contributing to wider team efforts.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures, familiar with financial markets and instruments, and hedge fund structures.
- Work experience in an operational role is desirable.
- All other relevant experience will be taken into account.
- Client service experience is desired.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Familiarity with Over-The-Counter (OTC) products is advantageous.
- An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject is required.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills are essential.
