CNC Machine Operator Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our crew. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machines that cut and shape materials.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Operating and understanding machine control functions.
    • Editing CNC programmes for minor changes.
    • Machining parts to a high standard and tolerance.
    • Checking part quality and recording according to working instruction.
    • Loading and uploading production parts for machining.
    • Planning tasks and tools for efficient workflow.
    • Adhering to safety guidelines.
    • Cleaning machines and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Requirements:
  • Prior Experience: Previous experience in CNC turning is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach are essential.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of geometric tolerances and symbols is necessary.
  • Soft Skills: Flexibility, proactivity, and commitment to teamwork are highly valued.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work varying shifts and rotate between different machines.
