Job Description


The Accounting & Operations Department is responsible for various functions, including fund accounting, operations, position reporting, valuation, risk management design, and liquidity management.



Responsibilities



  • Perform daily portfolio reviews and reconciliations with the trustee and administrative providers
  • Reconciliation of monthly CLO reporting and quarterly distributions
  • Monitor portfolio corporate actions and ensure proper updates are done internally and with service providers
  • Closely monitor deal and warehouse cash balances and perform calculations for warehouse fundings and prepare drawdown requests
  • Involvement in new issue CLO warehouse management, closing date, and effective date procedures and ongoing coordination with audit and tax teams
  • Support Research and Trading teams in CLO transactions, including new issue, resets, & refinancings
  • Working with fund accountants and administrators to resolve any bank loan related inquiries or discrepancies
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as assigned


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent required
  • 4-6 years of Bank Loan and/or CLO Structured Credit experience
  • Knowledge of Virtus/Nexus and Wall Street Office is a plus
  • Understanding of Credit Agreements, Indentures, funding memos, agent notices, and LSTA/LMA trade documentation
  • Loan administration including interest and principal payments, cash, and positions tie-outs
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to handle large data sets
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize, prioritize, resolve issues, and escalate when appropriate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team player
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office is a plus
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work in a global team environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
