CAD Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD technician to join our design office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to work in the design of concrete structures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for drawing and detailing reinforced concrete structures using Allplan software. They will work under the direction of the Design Office Manager and liaise with architects, consultant engineers, contractors, and clients as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draw and detail reinforced concrete structures using Allplan software.
  • Evaluate accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the role to ensure correct panels sent for manufacture.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to maintain open communication and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings prior to issue for approval and manufacture.

Requirements:

  • Experience in drawing reinforced concrete structures would be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Auto-CAD and experience with Revit or similar BIM style 3D modeling packages.
  • Diligent and thorough approach to all aspects of the role.
  • A qualification in this field would be advantageous.
