Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our design consultancy, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers and driving the successful delivery of projects.

The Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing mechanical design processes and mentoring a team. You will ensure all designs meet Irish engineering standards and contribute to the continued success and growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers
2. Oversee mechanical design for Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects
3. Ensure all designs comply with Irish building regulations and engineering standards
4. Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors
5. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve technical challenges
6. Provide expert guidance on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

1. Extensive Irish experience in mechanical design for building services
2. Proven ability to lead and develop a team of engineers
3. Strong knowledge of Irish mechanical engineering standards and regulations
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
5. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
6. Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
