Audit Manager Role

The position of Audit Manager presents a unique opportunity for an individual to join a firm of chartered accountants and business advisers. This esteemed organization provides professional services to entrepreneurs, individuals, and companies operating in Ireland and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to Partners, contributing to the achievement of firm goals
  • Leading audit assignments from a combined pool of staff to ensure client satisfaction and timely completion
  • Managing and mentoring a team of audit professionals to enhance their skills and expertise
  • Working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality services and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Staying abreast of changes in auditing standards and regulations to maintain the firm's reputation for excellence
  • Involvement in training junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribution to the growth and strategic direction of the firm through innovative ideas and best practices

Required Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ACA qualification with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a medium/large practice environment
  • Tax experience is advantageous, but not essential
  • Proven track record in managing and developing staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Excellent planning and organizational capabilities, ensuring seamless project delivery and effective time management
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Excellent knowledge of auditing standards and regulations, staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
