A seasoned Development Manager is sought to play a pivotal role in shaping Ireland's future housing landscape. The successful candidate will oversee the entire development life-cycle of projects, from site acquisition and planning to construction completion and handover.
The ideal candidate will drive new development opportunities to increase housing supply and formulate a strategic development programme. They will establish strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensure that new business opportunities are financially viable.
Responsibilities include identifying potential development sites in Dublin, leading the pre-planning process, managing project budgets, and overseeing design and construction phases. The Development Manager will also manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure adherence to social value principles.
Requirements:
- Relevant third-level qualification in Real Estate, Property Management or related discipline.
- Development/Project Management experience necessary.
- Strong understanding of the residential housing landscape in Dublin and relevant government policies.
- Excellent knowledge of planning and development regulations.
- Experience in securing funding and managing project budgets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project).
- A passion for social housing development and commitment to creating positive social impact.
