About this Role

Job Description

As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving product success by designing privacy, governance, and compliance operations that make it as seamless as possible to deliver our products.

  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive progress and overcome obstacles.
  • You will understand and mitigate risks related to data privacy and governance.
  • You will handle all aspects of privacy, governance, risk, and compliance operations.
  • You will respond to customer inquiries regarding privacy, security, and compliance.
  • You will develop and maintain a robust governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and supports our strategic objectives.
  • You will establish policies, procedures, and controls to guide compliant AI development, data usage, and corporate decision-making.
  • You will partner with leadership to integrate governance principles into product development and operational processes.
  • You will identify, assess, and prioritize risks related to AI operations, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property.
  • You will design and implement strategies to mitigate risks, including monitoring systems and contingency plans.
  • You will conduct regular risk assessments and scenario analyses to proactively address emerging threats in the AI landscape.
  • You will ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of legal experience–ideally through a combination of experience at innovative technology companies in governance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred)
  • Proven expertise in regulatory frameworks, data privacy, and cybersecurity, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Background in managing third-party risk or vendor compliance programs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly about new technologies.
  • Strong sense of ownership and enthusiasm for technology.
  • Love for problem-solving.
  • Commitment to working in-office in Dublin, Ireland at least 3+ days/week.
