Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team responsible for developing FDSs and control system hardware design based on client specifications and process descriptions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, testing, and commissioning automation software as well as on-site commissioning and validation.

The person in this role will work alone and within multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to project meetings with customers and suppliers.


Required Skills and Qualifications

A third-level degree in Technical or Engineering plus two years of experience is required.

A background in project execution (Automation) for the beverage, chemical, dairy, food, or pharmaceutical industries would be beneficial.

Familiarity with automation project execution including writing FDS, PLC, and/or SCADA software writing, validation (such as FATs, IQ, OQs, SATs.), and commissioning activities is necessary.

Ability to write PLC code for Siemens and/or Rockwell PLCs is essential.

Likewise, familiarity with configuring SCADA systems such as Intouch, FTView, System platform, Win CC, or Ignition is required.

Experience with various I/O systems and networks such as Profinet, Ethernet IP, Control net, Profibus etc. is also essential.
