Food Safety Retail Coordinator Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Retail Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food safety and quality management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Manage Retail Food Safety Auditing Programmes in association with regulatory bodies">
  • Define and implement Food Safety improvements">
  • Monitor Food Safety Continuous Improvement Plans">
  • Liaise with Sales teams on Retail Food Safety">
  • Proactively manage At Risk retailers through START - Store Assist programmes">
  • Promote Food Safety Best Practice with retailers">
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies on Food safety matters">
  • Manage Food safety training in co-ordination with HR team">

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Retail Operations role with experience of food safety and quality elements">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels and with diverse stakeholder groups">
  • Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders">
  • Strong problem-solving skills">
  • Excellent organisation skills with an ability to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment and prioritise">
  • Ability to work on own initiative">
  • Third level degree in Food Technology / Science or other relevant professional qualification">
