EHS Sustainability Consultant

The ideal candidate will provide technical guidance to the site and ongoing projects ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements related to safety, as well as corporate standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Support General Safety and High Risk Work Programs
- Provide SME support in Environmental Programs (Air, water, waste)
- Assist with safety support for new ongoing and new projects
- Participate in local safety teams, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and other safety programs
- Represent EHS on risk assessments, change management impact assessments, training delivery, and contractor management
- Evaluate and audit EHS processes and systems according to Global Safety and Environment Standards
- Report weekly KPIs aligned with EHS objectives/targets
- Lead in demonstrating a strong EHS culture across the site
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related field of study
- +7 years of EHS, Engineering, or Operational experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process-related industry
- Knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental Legislation and regulations
- Experience in managing and implementing change beneficial
- Proven record of success in the EHS sector
- Ability to support multiple activities/projects
