Senior Assurance Expert

The Commercial Assurance Professional will lead the assurance activities, ensuring alignment with client rules and procedures. This role supports procurement and delivery teams in achieving economic, environmental, and social benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Controls, Procurement Operations, and procurement leads to support assurance activities.
- Act as a point of contact for assurance-related queries.
- Contribute to the development of Procurement policies and strategies.
- Assist in maintaining Procurement Code updates and sharing best practices.
Principal Accountabilities:

The Commercial Assurance Professional ensures timely delivery of assurance activity by developing and maintaining plans, controls, and information systems. Assist in aligning the client's Commercial Assurance plan with approval processes and provide feedback.
Requirements- 10+ years' experience in public sector e-procurement and constraints.
- Good understanding of business and procurement management systems.
- Experience with procurement of European procurement directives, EU public/utilities civil, contract law, and construction procurement as a client or for client bodies.
- Knowledgeable understanding of business and procurement management systems.
- Experience within procurement and contract management functions in a range of construction engineering and service-oriented areas and in a demanding safety-critical environment.
