Job Title: Micro Lab Technician
Location:
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test methods to ensure compliance with global and regulatory requirements. They must maintain aseptic techniques at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow environmental health and safety rules and regulations within the facility
- Report any current or potential hazards to your supervisor immediately
- Conduct environmental sampling throughout the facility and maintain laboratory housekeeping standards
- Perform product testing using microbiological test methods
- Assist with collection and testing of additional samples during trials of new product innovation
Education Required: BSc in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards
- Good knowledge of microbiological techniques and methods used
- Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
Working Environment: The role will involve working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
They should have a thorough understanding of the importance of maintaining accurate records, implementing procedures for routine monitoring and control, and adhering to company policies. Additionally, they should be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and other stakeholders regarding lab results, issues, and concerns.
