Early Years Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Assistant to join our early years' service team in Knocknaheeny, Co. Cork.
Job Description:As a Programme Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This role involves working with young children, supporting their development, and maintaining a child-centered approach. You will also be involved in supervising students and volunteers, as well as contributing to the overall success of the service.
You will work closely with the service team to ensure that all children receive an appropriate level of supervision, support, and care. Your ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues will be essential in achieving this goal.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Experience working with young children (minimum 6 months)
- Relevant voluntary work may be considered
- Recognized qualification (minimum Level 5 on the NFQ) that is approved under the Early Years (Preschool) Regulations

The post-holder will be initially assigned to work in the Brighter Futures centres, Knocknaheeny, but may be required to work in other locations in the Cork area in line with organisational needs.
